The Palma International Boat Show becomes the pole of attraction for the world’s nautical world

The next edition of the show will kick off the Mediterranean sailing season from 27th to 30th April at the Moll Vell

The nautical sector will gather once again this year at the Palma International Boat Show, which has become one of the world’s nautical poles of attraction. One month away from the inauguration of the show, which will take place from the 27th to 30th of April, the fairgrounds are already full to capacity with companies exhibiting new models of boats and nautical products.

One of the most characteristic aspects of this year’s show is the increase in the number of international shipyards exhibiting directly at the fair, a fact that had been noted in previous years but has now been consolidated. As a result, the Palma International Boat Show will be the setting for the presentation of the latest boat models from shipyards all over the world.

In addition to the presence of shipyards, the fair’s offer is once again very balanced this year, although sailing continues to be one of the main protagonists in Palma, which will have the largest exhibition of large sailing boats in Europe. On the other hand, the catamarans stand out, both sailing and motorboats, as they are one of the favourite charter boats. With regard to motorboats, the fair will show the latest models of tenders and dayboats of medium-high lengths, and transportable semi-rigid boats of medium-small lengths, in accordance with the latest trends in the nautical sector.

Sustainability will be one of the highlights of the fair, which can be seen in the predominance of sailing, the most natural way of sailing, the new electric models, as well as others that use the sun’s energy to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels.

Finally, there will also be a growing area for the boat repair and maintenance industry, located in the Palma Superyacht Village area, which will showcase superyachts over 24 metres in length from the international brokerage and charter market.

The Palma International Boat Show has proven to be a driving force in the sector, as it has been and continues to be one of the most important gateways for international companies that want to establish themselves on the Balearic islands or establish relations with local firms to open up new business channels.

In addition, it is worth mentioning the fair’s collaboration with different nautical associations, such as the agreement signed with the Association of Nautical Companies of the Balearic Islands (AENIB) to promote the participation of its members in the event. In addition, the Palma International Boat Show was once again the official sponsor of the Nautical Congress organized by the National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN), which brings together professionals from the sector from all over the country to promote debate on the hottest topics on the nautical agenda.
