The Palma International Boat Show is committed in favour of sustainability with Adalmo

• The Balearic company is offering this service both to the organisers themselves and to exhibitors and visitors.

• All the waste generated during the boat show is separated and recycled to protect the environment

Once again this year, the organisers of PIBS 2023 will be looking after the environment and sustainability by setting up a separation and recycling service for all the waste generated during the days of the nautical fair.

Thus, the Balearic waste management company Adalmo will be responsible, for yet another year, for offering this service, which will consist of installing green points for selective collection for subsequent recycling.

After glass, plastics and microplastics are the second most abundant marine waste fraction in the Balearic Mediterranean, with an average weight of approximately 3 kg/km2, hence the eagerness of the organisation of PIBS 2023 to recycle all the waste generated during the event.

Adalmo, an authorised manager of all types of waste, has been working towards environmental protection and conservation since 1967, and its experience and professionalism have positioned it as a benchmark in terms of integrated waste management and environmental services, thus contributing to the sustainable development of our islands and the circular economy.

Adalmo is also responsible for scrapping unusable or disused boats, offering their destruction, prior decontamination and recycling to protect the environment and the health of the sea.

The next edition of the Palma International Boat Show will be held from 27th to 30th April 2022 in Palma’s Moll Vell.
