The Palma International Boat Show opens its doors tomorrow

  • – The fair can be visited from the 28th of April until the 1st of May at Palma’s Moll Vell.
  • – This edition will once again mark the start of the Mediterranean nautical season

The new edition of the Palma International Boat Show (PIBS) opens its doors tomorrow and can be visited until the 1st of May, from 10 am to 8 pm, at Palma’s Moll Vell. This year’s show will once again mark the start of the Mediterranean nautical season.

The boat show is organised by the Institute for Business Innovation of the Balearic Islands (IDI), an entity dependent on the Vice-Presidency and Regional Ministry of Energy Transition, Productive Sectors and Democratic Memory, and the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA).

This year the Palma International Boat Show will have 276 participating companies and 264 boats at sea, in an area of 81,388 square metres.

It is worth highlighting the interest this year’s show has aroused among local (54%), national (18%) and international (28%) companies. In fact, in recent years the Palma International Boat Show has become the event that opens the nautical season and is one of the most important gateways for international companies that want to establish themselves on the islands, or establish relations with local firms to open up new business opportunities.

The PIBS will be the setting for presentations of new products and boats on a global scale, as it is the first nautical fair of this year’s season.
