La feria náutica presencial y la virtual coincidirán en fechas para conseguir una mayor promoción del sector náutico en las Islas Baleares

El Palma International Boat Show y el Baleric Yacht Show han decidido sumar fuerzas y coincidir en el tiempo. Así la feria náutica presencial y la virtual tendrán lugar del 3 al 6 de junio para conseguir una mayor promoción del sector y de las empresas náuticas de las Islas Baleares.

Con este acuerdo, se incrementa la apuesta del PIBS por la digitalización gracias a la plataforma del BYS, que completará la oferta presencial de la feria náutica del Moll Viejo. Un aspecto destacado de la colaboración será la ampliación de las actividades paralelas que se ofrecerán a expositores y profesionales ya que el hecho que sean online permite a los organizadores adaptarse mejor a la normativa COVID.

El Palma International Boat Show está organizado por IDI y BYBA, y el Balearic Yacht Show, por el Balearic Marine Cluster y la Cámara de Comercio de Mallorca.

El náutico es uno de los sectores industriales considerados estratégicos por el Plan Industrial de las Islas Baleares. Se tiene que tener en cuenta que, según los últimos datos, el sector cuenta en las Islas con casi 2.000 empresas mercantiles y con más de 5.000 personas trabajadoras directas. Además, las cifras de matriculaciones del último trimestre en España, demuestran que las Islas Baleares vuelven a liderar el mercado con 189 matriculaciones, un 20% más que el mismo periodo que el año anterior.[:en]The Palma International Boat Show and the Balearic Yacht Show have decided to join forces and coincide in time. Therefore, the on-site and virtual boat shows will take place between 3 and 6 June to increase promotion of the sector and nautical companies in the Balearic Islands.

This agreement increases PIBS’ commitment to digitalization through the BYS platform, which will complete the face-to-face offer of the Moll Viejo boat show. A highlight of the collaboration will be the expansion of the parallel activities that will be offered to exhibitors and professionals since the fact that they are online allows the organizers to better adapt to the COVID regulations.

The Palma International Boat Show is organized by IDI and BYBA, and the Balearic Yacht Show by the Balearic Marine Cluster and the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca.

The marine industry is one of the sectors considered strategic by the Industrial Plan of the Balearic Islands. It must be taken into account that, according to the latest data, the sector has almost 2,000 commercial companies in the Islands and more than 5,000 direct workers. In addition, figures show that during the last quarter in Spain the Balearic Islands are again leading the market with 189 registrations, 20% more than the same period of the previous year.
